On the Raft with Alyse Pronko, Director of Content & Community

At RefluxRaft, content and community isn't just a marketing function — it's how we show up for the people who trust us with something as personal as how they feel every day. Alyse is exactly who you want in that seat. She leads with the customer first, every time, and brings a level of creativity to this brand that keeps us honest about how we show up, and dare we say, exciting to follow (we're in the rgut health market after all!)

We asked her a few questions. Here's what she said.

The role you never expected to love?

"Community management. For a brand in the acid reflux space, genuinely not what I saw coming. But two years into RefluxRaft, I get it completely. When your product changes how someone feels every day, your community isn't just an audience — they're people who got their lives back. Showing up for that never gets old."

The content I'm most proud of?

"Our brand relaunch. Seeing those products out in the wild for the first time — in people's hands, on their feeds — hit differently than I expected. Acid reflux isn't a glamorous category. But building something that makes people feel truly seen in their health journey? That's the work worth being proud of."

The brand I quietly study?

“AG1. They took a clinical category and built something people genuinely want to belong to. Their audience doesn’t just buy — they believe. That’s the energy we’re chasing at RefluxRaft. Feeling like yourself again every day is aspirational, and AG1 proved you can reframe an entire category with the right strategy.”

The comment, review or DM that really hit?

"Someone told us we changed their life. Acid reflux symptoms, gone. I come back to that more than I probably should, in the best way. It's why I care about strategy as much as creativity, and community as much as content. When what you put out actually moves someone, that's not a small thing. That's everything."

We're lucky to have her on the raft!
